A ball shaped cake, orange and black frosting use Star Tip #22 and Tip #7 and you have a basketball.
A hobby I love to do and share with others. The best part is they taste as great as they look!

The Real Deal
A lot of people have said that they have been checking my blog to see the final product of the wedding cake. Believe it or not, I forgot my camera to take a picture of the final cake! Thank goodness for modern day technology and camera phones. My hubby took this picture for me with his phone. I know there were other pictures taken and as soon as I have them I will post them. Thank you to everyone who helped me achieve such a huge project. I loved every minute of it and I am so greatful that I was able to do this. More pictures to come...

Practice Wedding Cake
In August I am doing a wedding cake. It is my first official, all cake, wedding cake. As a result of it being my first, I decided to do a complete run through of the cake and get the bride and groom's opinion. I did a few different swirls to see what looked best. Stay tuned for the real deal...

Millenium Falcon
My son just turned 5 and Star Wars is his favorite thing right now, so he asked for a "Million Falcon" (Millenium Falcon) So I looked at pictures of the actual ship, studied pictures of other Millenium Falcon cakes, and came up with this. He loved it, I hope you enjoy it too.

Knitting Club Cake
I was asked to make a cake for a knitting club and this is what I did...
1. I made three balls of rice crispie treats.
2. I wrapped each ball in rolled fondant.
A Timeless Sisterhood
This cake I made for the birthday celebration of the founding of the Relief Society, the women's organization in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The theme was "A Timeless Sisterhood", so I made a clock with the year the organization was established.
