Knitting Club Cake

I was asked to make a cake for a knitting club and this is what I did...

1. I made three balls of rice crispie treats.

2. I wrapped each ball in rolled fondant.
3. I made a cake and did the basketweave around the cake.4. I placed the balls of yarn in the basket.5. Added the knitting needles.
And you have a basket of yarn. This cake was so much fun and a challenge. I loved working on it!

My goodness! Talk about talented! Someday I'll be browsing through wedding magazines going, "I lived in Alexandria with her once! She was even my visiting teaching supervisor!" You're going to be my claim to fame! :)
