A World Wide Sisterhood

I made this cake for the women's organization for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They were having a birthday celebration for when the Relief Society was created. The theme for the evening was "A World Wide Sisterhood" So I came up with this idea:
I marbled the blue fondant to make it look like the earth as if you were looking at it from space with a mix of clouds and water.

amazing...how do you get the ball shaped?? Do you have to stack sheet cakes and carve them like ace of cakes?? Love ya!
